Education

Our education based workshops involve working with textiles exploring traditional and new technology.

We run collaborative art projects that combine active participation with producing impressive outcomes often in the form of large fabric banners and flags for public display though we offer a range of different textile based outcomes   on specific themes or to mark a particular event.

We frequently collaborate across many different art forms working creatively with writers, story tellers, photographers, performers, musicians, DJ’s, scientists, fashions designers, writers and poets.

“I planned a major art project with Sarah in 2013 & 2014 She was able to work with me to develop a plan for the budget we had. The chosen project was about water safety both in our swimming pool and also at the seaside. Sarah had a lovely, positive manner with children and was able to inspire them reatively. She even coped well when we lost water in the room she was working in through building work!! The two pieces of art produced (fabric books) look amazing and have been on display near our front entrance all this year. I can whole heartedly recommend Sarah to you as an artist who helps pupils develop their creative skills from Nursery right through to Y6.”
