Ravens Wood Secondary School

Project Description

The aim of the workshop was to create two large banners for display in the school. The workhops were themed with and held during Science & Engineering Week. The project was part funded by NADFAS.

The project included a staff inset session (in which a small additional banner was made) and workshop sessions with Y10 students.

“Working with Sarah from Cloth of Gold was a fantastic experience that we would be keen to repeat as soon as possible. The whole process was extremely well organised and the delivery of the workshops to staff and students has had an immediate impact not only on our surroundings (now that we have three fabulous banners on display!) but also in the way we have approached other pieces of work since then. On the workshop days, Sarah ran the show completely which gave us the opportunity to work with our students in a different context to usual. Everyone that has seen the banners has been astounded by how spectacular they are – they utterly transform the space they are in. We would definitely recommend this to other schools and organisations and think it would appeal to all ages.

We really look forward to working with Sarah again!”
